Bangladesh goverment wil production suger 9 mils run emidiate
Nine state-owned sugar mills are set to start production soon.
The Ministry of Industries announced this information through a gazette notification on Monday (November 11).
According to the notification, under the authority provided in Article 5 of the 2006 Order on the Control of Production and Transfer of Molasses, Sugarcane, Sugar, and Sugar Products, nine sugar mills located in the sugarcane areas will begin sugarcane crushing and sugar production.
Among these, North Bengal Sugar Mills Limited in Natore will start production on November 15, while Rajshahi Sugar Mills Limited and Natore Sugar Mills Limited will start on November 29. Zil Bangla Sugar Mills Limited in Jamalpur will commence on December 6, Thakurgaon Sugar Mills Limited, Mobarakganj Sugar Mills Limited in Jhenaidah, and Faridpur Sugar Mills Limited on December 13. Finally, Carew & Company Bangladesh Limited in Chuadanga and Joypurhat Sugar Mills Limited will start production on December 20.
